Ahmadiyya Musilm Jama'at Delhi organizes Eid Milan Party

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at New Delhi organized "Eid Milan Party" marking the conclusion of the blessed month of Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr in the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi from 7.30 pm onwards.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Mr. Shiraz Ahmad Deputy Chief Secretary Ahmadiyya Muslim Community delivered his Welcome address in which he presented a brief introduction about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. He said Love for All Hatred for none is the Motto of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. He said that the Ahmadiyya Muslim community stands in the fore front to promote inter faith dialogues and promote Global peace in today’s troubled world.

After the introductory speech a short documentary was shown, which was a compilation of the instructions of the Head of the World wide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, to promote Global peace and harmony. This documentary was the center of attraction in this program. The Session concluded with the Silent Prayer which was then followed by the dinner.

The Eid Milan Party was graced by Prominent Members such as Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna National Vice President BJP Party MP Rajya Sabha, Mr. Sanjay Joshi Former National General Secretary BJP, Mr. Sandeep Bhattacharya MP Rajya Sabha & Chairman Parliament Committee for Home Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Afzal Central Secretary Muslim Rashtrya Manch and others. They showed their love and affection for the community by participating in this event.

The party was graced by most of the prominent members and dignitaries of the Society who extended their Eid wishes and best regards.
The community holds Eid Milan Parties in various part of the country. In this program it invites the Friends of Ahmadiyya in this moment of Happiness and Joy. Holding such events is a means of promoting inter cultural dialogues and Mutual Understanding between different faiths. Such programs are very essential to develop and strengthen communal harmony. Sitting along in a table of dinner also promotes brotherhood and mutual respect.
After one month of Fasting in the blessed month of Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated. The month of Ramadan has taught us peace, kindness, tranquility and tolerance. This is a day to pledge that we shall continue these good deeds that the Ramadan has taught us.
More than 200 guests participated in this program.
